Humanity 002 (2021)

12" X 16”

acrylic painting on stretched canvas

Material: Gesso, acrylic paint and spray varnish

Be that joyful child merely because you’ve built a sand castle with your friends.

Be that joyful child merely because you’ve ran around and played “tag”

Be that joyful child merely because you’ve saw something sparkly.

Less is more,

But it’s easier said than done

Swing was my favourite on the playground, what was your go-to at the playground when you were a kid?

Le Corbusier inspired. #lecorbusierinspired

I’ve always have an old soul and always been drawn to cubism art and purism art during the post war era, possibly because I’m an introvert and a reserved person , I like order, structure, and know what to expect just because I think it’s easier to fit the mistakes accordingly in the timely manner. Sometimes the limitation spikes up creativity.

🇨🇦SOLD - The Smile (2021) - SOLD 🇨🇦✈️

23" x 17" / 60cm x 44cm

Acrylic painting on stretched canvas

Material : Gesso, acrylic paint and spray varnish

What emotion do you see in this painting? What is your first impression?

I’ve created this painting during the third waves global coronavirus pandemic. This is the awkward facial expression I have to show some semblance of normal social lifestyle after period of quarantine.

The show still goes on despite all the job losses, mental illness, loneliness and social issues caused by this disease.

Smile doesn’t always mean love, happiness and friendliness.

📜This painting was inspired by “The Smile” BY WILLIAM BLAKE📜

There is a Smile of Love

And there is a Smile of Deceit

And there is a Smile of Smiles

In which these two Smiles meet

And there is a Frown of Hate

And there is a Frown of disdain

And there is a Frown of Frowns

Which you strive to forget in vain

For it sticks in the Hearts deep Core

And it sticks in the deep Back bone

And no Smile that ever was smild

But only one Smile alone

That betwixt the Cradle & Grave

It only once Smild can be

But when it once is Smild

Theres an end to all Misery

Hopefully we will see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.✌🏼

When was the last time you smile from the bottom of your heart? 😁

Mixed Media on stretched canvas

Material: Acrylic, pastel, gesso and spray varnish

👨🏻‍🎨”In art there is only one thing that counts: the bit that cannot be explained.” - George Braque.

👩🏻‍🎨This painting was created while watching

“George Condo’s interview - the way I think” and George Braqués quote summed it well.

I see six faces and six creatures in the paintings that symbolize that we all have to put on different façades in front of different people. It’s just part of the humanity.

What do you see in this painting? Are you an introvert or extrovert?
